Catching up

So, I've taken a lot of time off from blogging, but I couldn't start up again with out putting up some of the great pictures from December. We'll start off with Bryce's Christmas party, which was so fun and festive. We start with Miss Rhodes instructing the kids on what is proper party behavior...

Here is Bryce getting ready to start his first craft...
He takes his crafts very seriously, especially when it involves a cookie and icing..
Finished product.... he had a plan for his decorating. He said he was going to do the sugar sprinkles on the outside of the cookie and the big sprinkles in the middle. I think it worked out really well.
Here he's making reindeer food to put in the front yard so the reindeer have a healthy snack while Santa is dropping off the presents.
They're going over which way to pass the presents during the exchange. Boys were in one circle and girls were in the other... any guesses on which circle was more rambunctious?
His gift!
Who's that handsome elf on the end?
A great group of kiddos in Miss Rhodes' class.
Nothing better than eating something you worked so hard on!
Merry Christmas Miss Rhodes!
Bryce went on a special early birthday outing with his good friend, Josie before she left town and she gave him his first Webkinz. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a stuffed animal that you register on-line and it lives in the virtual world you create for it. So, we don't know much about the webkinz world and Bryce came out one day and put his new pet, Jimmy, on the couch. He said, "The computer says that Jimmy is sick, so I'm going to take care of him." And this is what he did...
We now know that in order to take care of him, we need to feed him and entertain him ON-LINE. But, I thought it was too cute that Bryce put him on the couch and covered him with a blanket when he wasn't feeling well. That boy has such a sweet heart.
Our other good friends bought Bryce, Lance and Manning their first build-a-bear animals for Christmas. So, we went to the nearest store and let the kids pick out their own animal. The boys both got turtles and Manning got a Moose.

This is Bryce "washing" Manning's moose for her...
This is the part where you sit down and fill out the birth certificate for your stuffed animal.
Lance is hard at work naming his turtle...
Christmas Eve day, we made sugar cookies for Santa and the boys helped! Lance had fun decorating the cookies with icing and sprinkles....
So did Bryce. He actually did most of the frosting of his cookies too. Very meticulous... his hand eventually got tired and he let me slop some icing on the remainder of his cookies.
The Boneau family, ready for Christmas Eve service.
Going out to inspect the loot on Christmas morning...
What great loot! A kitchen!!
Lance diggin' his new Chicago Fire ball that Santa left for him.
Bryce's undiscovered chair of goodies from Santa. He was ready to jump right in to the un-wrapping!
Manning's digging deep in the stocking to make sure that all the yummies are out.
She loves her new chair from Grandma!
The kiddos opening a joint gift from Dad and Mom.
Dad showing off one of his Christmas gifties.
Bryce trying to put on/hold as many Christmas gifts as he possibly can. I think everything in the picture, aside from the shorts and socks, is new.
Lance following suit...
I decided to go on a major cleaning spree Christmas day and cleared out a ton of toys to make room for the new ones. Here is Manning's contribution to the process.
Mild enough weather on Christmas day for the boys to be in short sleeves and shorts to play soccer in their new jerseys and soccer cleats.
So, two days after Christmas, we celebrated Bryce turning six! Can you believe it?!? Bryce chose a place called Main Event to have his party at and they put up a neat sign in the front that said "Happy Birthday Bryce". It was really cool.
Manning and her friend, Griffin, "sharing" some popcorn at the party.
The gaggle of boys (and Julia) that were invited to Bryce's party. They had fun I think.
Cool Transformers cupcake cake.
Singing Happy Birthday to the birthday boy.
And again a few days later with the Boneau family.
Unwrapping gifts from Grandpa Dave, PJ, Marielle and Elise... which is also known as the Christmas after Christmas.
Yay! New clothes!!
Very cool picture of Trent and the boys with their matching Liverpool jerseys.
I think I'm caught up now. I know I've got some pictures on the camera waiting to be downloaded... hopefully it won't take me six weeks to post again.
